Of having the\u00a0<i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">last word<\/span><\/i>. Accumulating brownie points.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the context of life&#8217;s brevity,\u00a0<i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">last words<\/span><\/i> do take a different meaning. Often, the words are brief because there is no energy for a full conversation. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Mama<\/span><\/i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201d is one of the most common last words that people speak\u00a0( no surprises there).<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span>Some people&#8217;s last utterances are curse words. Others may mumble a word that holds significance to them \u2013 but it may mean nothing to their families \u2013 for their final words.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Contrarian as it may sound, but\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">a<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">n apology is a good way to have the last word<\/span><\/i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">. And set the foundation for the connection, communication and conversation to move forward.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-965\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sureshdinakaran.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Shut-Up.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2100\" height=\"2100\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can&#8217;t win them all, you can&#8217;t please them all nor can you convince them all. So, if the person on the other end is not singing from your hymn sheet, or doesn&#8217;t agree with you, smile, nod and move onto more important things. A simple strategy that will save you so many headaches:\u00a0<i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">don&#8217;t care about winning trivial arguments.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Weak people take\u00a0<i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">revenge<\/span><\/i>. Strong people\u00a0<i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">forgive<\/span><\/i>. Intelligent people\u00a0<i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">ignore. <\/span><\/i>Life is short. Learning to not care about having the last word will save you so much time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Your chances of being heard and understood grows exponentially when you adopt the disciplined practice to listen<\/span><\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My last words before I conclude this post would be:-<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><i>Never try to have the last word.
