We are all frauds.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Creating<\/em><\/span> is hard for every last one of us( including those from the allegedly superior Aryan<\/em> race). Yes!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Coal mining is harder. Do you think the miners stand around all day thinking about how hard it is to mine for coal? Certainly not!\u00a0 They simply dig.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Throughout life, you collect data points<\/em> or dots<\/em>. And you probably don’t have a clue as to how these dots<\/em> will connect in the future<\/em>. As Steve Jobs<\/strong><\/em> said, you can connect<\/em><\/span> these dot only by looking backward<\/em>. But you have to collect<\/em><\/span> them moving forward<\/em>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Without the mistakes<\/em><\/span> we make, the decisions<\/em><\/span> we regret, and the experiences<\/em><\/span> that didn’t live up to our expectations, we would be woefully short of material<\/em> and ammunition<\/em> for our creative work<\/em><\/strong>. These things are all ingredients<\/em><\/span> for your soup<\/em><\/span>, material for making meaning<\/em> <\/span>and creating art<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The creative life<\/em><\/span>, just like the creative process<\/em><\/span> isn’t linear. We don’t know how each of our life experiences<\/em><\/span> will impact us down the road. With each step forward, the landscape<\/em><\/span> differs, the view<\/em><\/span> changes, and the most insignificant experiences<\/em> <\/span>of our lives at the moment can serve<\/em> <\/span>as the most informative ones<\/em><\/span> in our future<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our creativity<\/em><\/span> is not something that someone can give to us or take away. It’s always something within us. Happily domiciled. Whether it’s the degree<\/em><\/span> we earn<\/em><\/span> or the job<\/em> <\/span>we hate,\u00a0<\/em> every experience provides us with seeds to plant for the stories we tell.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Life doesn’t pause to make room for our precious creating time.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
