You get a seat at the table. More than ever, the current technology and the lack of gatekeepers mean that your\u00a0<i>body of work<\/i>\u00a0could earn you the\u00a0<i>benefit of the doubt\u00a0<\/i>and give you a chance to\u00a0<i>speak up<\/i>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Disquali<b>FIED<\/b>\u00a0is what happens when you\u00a0<i>over promise and under deliver<\/i>\u00a0or you\u00a0<i>expose intent<\/i>\u00a0that&#8217;s\u00a0<i>not in alignment<\/i>\u00a0with what the rest of us\u00a0<i>expect or need<\/i>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Unqual<b>iFIED<\/b>\u00a0is rare. It&#8217;s at a premium. Like in &#8220;<i>\u00a0you have our unqualified support<\/i>\u00a0&#8220;. Getting the\u00a0<i>benefit of the doubt<\/i>\u00a0long after most people would have lost our\u00a0<i>trust<\/i>\u00a0is a\u00a0<i>hard won privilege<\/i>. It&#8217;s very hard to earn\u00a0<i>unqualified support<\/i>, so if you earn it, be careful to not\u00a0waste it.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">The worrying trend though is far too often even well before we begin looking at skill, we are\u00a0<i>judging people for other reasons<\/i>. It is definitely not done and highly wasteful.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Being confused about what makes one\u00a0<i>qualiFIED<\/i>\u00a0or not,\u00a0<i>perpetuates injustice<\/i>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">It is a rapid\u00a0<i>race to the bottom<\/i>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">And if your quest is for the\u00a0<i>True North<\/i>, then south is not the direction to head in.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8216;FIED &#8216; and Tested If judging others constitutes full time employment, then most of the world is a very well employed space.
