They&#8217;re benchmarking their customers&#8217; <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>guilt<\/em><\/strong><\/span> \u2014 and weaponising it as loyalty. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Liquid Death<\/em><\/strong><\/span> doesn&#8217;t compete with water brands; it competes with the idea that hydration has to be boring. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Duolingo&#8217;s<\/em><\/strong><\/span> biggest competitor isn&#8217;t <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Babbel<\/em><\/strong> <\/span>\u2014 it&#8217;s the first five minutes of mindless doom scrolling.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember1104\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>&#8220;In the Next New Abnormal, your fiercest rival isn&#8217;t a company.
