As nobody ever notices..<\/p>\n You are always critical..<\/p>\n This market never appreciates high quality..<\/p>\n The management will never understand..<\/p>\n I have always done it this way..<\/p>\n My boss is a jerk..<\/p>\n I don\u2019t want to\u00a0fail..I rather play safe..<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n They are all sad facades, masking the real issue. The outcome where sub optimal emotional labour is committed will always reflect a huge gap between what could have been and what is.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you want to grow into an extraordinary version of yourself, you must be willing to fail\u200a\u2014\u200aa lot.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n If we can prepare ourselves to be as indistractable as possible, zero in on distilling the vital few from the trivial many( the practice of “Essentialism<\/span><\/em><\/a>“), and be prepared to look in the ugly mirror, we can stop running on the treadmill of mediocrity<\/span>.<\/b><\/i> Not just that.
